The House

No 4, Theatre Lane is a beautiful converted stable house in the centre of Georgian Limerick. It has on it’s doorstep the award winning Freddy’s Bistro as well as numerous cafes, bars and shops within walking distance.

It comprises of a spacious open plan living/ dining room, fully fitted kitchen, 1 double bedroom, a twin bedroom and bathroom.
If you relish the opportunity to stay in a true heritage building in Ireland then The Mews is for you, it is perfect for business or a city break.

Georgian Limerick was built in the 18th Century. Behind each of the main houses is a network of lanes where the stables for the main houses were built. Our house is an original Georgian Stable house. It was converted to a modern living space but still retains all of its original charm and magic. The original stonework is exposed thoughout the house giving it at special authentic feel right in the City Centre of Limerick.

The house is completely available for guest use.

Limerick City

Limerick City is a great base to discover The Burren, Bunratty and the Cliffs of Moher. Paddywagon Tours leave from Arthurs Quay Park… this is just a 5 minute walk from our house.

There are lots of gorgeous historic Irish pubs a quick walk away including Tom Collins on Cecil Street, Gleesons/ The White House on O’Connell Street, Nancy Blakes and The Commercial on Catherine Street.

Foodies should not miss the Historic Limerick Milk Market on Saturday from 8am to lunchtime, definitely a food highlight of Ireland.

Parking

Limerick city is easily walkable. There is no parking at the house… Our house pre dates cars! However we do have a great parking rate with Howley’s Quay Car Park. There is a daily/ 24 hour rate for our guests of €7.50 and a three day day pass for only €15.00.
